For the website that features books written and/or illustrated by Tracy Sabin, a trademark called Thar She Blows Books was developed. The icon alone, as well as horizontal and vertical versions were created for different applications.
The basic concept came fairly quickly - making the spray of a whale into the shape of a book. Various whale types and book treatments were explored. Because most of the books are for children, the final version is simple and playful.
